Parents,

We had a great first week back! On Friday I sent home the book that we had worked on in small group last week. Please have your child read this to you.

We are focusing on: Math: Money and Telling Time Reading: We will be continue to focus on the hard and soft g pattern. We will also be working on text features and identifying author's purpose. Writing: We are focusing on opinion writing this quarter. Science/Social Studies: Inventions and Simple Machines

Please check folders daily. Please send a snack for your child. Please send your child dressed in warm clothing with winter coats. Hats and gloves are encouraged. We go out to recess unless it is below freezing.
