Valentine's Day
It is Valentine's Week! Please send in items or money for the party by 2/14. Students also need 18 valentines with just their names signed and a box for their Valentines.
We are focusing on: Math: Place Value and Skip Counting to Add Reading: We will working on contractions this week. We will also be working on text features, main idea/details, and identifying author's purpose. Writing: We are focusing on opinion writing and editing/revising this quarter. Science/Social Studies: U.S. Symbols

Reminders: Please have your student finish/fix their math sent home in their folders. Students also need to read to you every night. Our school-wide book would be a great book to read as a family! Please check folders daily. Please send a snack for your child. Please send your child dressed in warm clothing with winter coats. Hats and gloves are encouraged.
