Make-Up Party
Our Valentine's Day party is at 2:15 today! We hope to see you then! We are excited to show other schools and teachers all we have learned with Leader In Me on Wednesday. You are welcome to join us at 2:30 for our Tiger Pride assembly. Second grade will be leading us in our habits song!
We are focusing on: Math: Addition within 1000 Reading: We will working on contractions this week. We will also be working on text features, main idea/details, and identifying author's purpose. Writing: We are focusing on opinion writing and editing/revising this quarter. Science/Social Studies: U.S. Symbols and Presidents

Reminders: Please have your student finish/fix their math sent home in their folders. Students also need to read to you every night. Our school-wide book would be a great book to read as a family! Please check folders daily. Please send a snack for your child. Please send your child dressed in warm clothing with winter coats. Hats and gloves are encouraged. We go out to recess unless it is below freezing.
