4th Quarter!

I hope you had a nice break! Happy fourth quarter! Conferences are next Tuesday. I have only had a few notes returned. Please return the spring conference form as soon as possible even if you do not want a conference. I need make sure I have touched base with everyone. If you need another note please let me know. I also have a few field trip forms that are missing.

We are focusing on: Math: Addition/Subtraction within 1000 Reading: We will still be working on spr/str/scr this week. We will also be working on the central message or moral of a story. Writing: We are focusing on opinion writing and editing/revising this quarter as well as fine-tuning our different genres of writing. Science/Social Studies: Maps

Reminders: Please have your student finish/fix their math sent home in their folders. Students also need to read to you every night. Please check folders daily. Please send a snack for your child. Please send your child dressed in warm clothing with winter coats. Hats and gloves are encouraged. We go out to recess unless it is below freezing. All toys need to stay at home so they don't get lost, stolen, or become a distraction to learning.
