Happy Monday! We are looking forward to a good week. Please send in Valentine's Day donation slips and items if you are able to donate. Also, just a reminder that the district has make 2/18 (President's Day) our snow makeup day.
We are focusing on: Math: Money and Telling Time Reading: We will working on suffixes this week. We will also be working on text features, main idea/details, and identifying author's purpose. Writing: We are focusing on opinion writing and editing/revising this quarter. Science/Social Studies: U.S. Symbols

Reminders: Please have your student finish/fix their math sent home in their folders. Students also need to read to you every night. Our school-wide book would be a great book to read as a family! Please check folders daily. Please send a snack for your child. Please send your child dressed in warm clothing with winter coats. Hats and gloves are encouraged. We go out to recess unless it is below freezing.
